We are pleased to introduce two new consulting psychiatrists, Dr. Tanveer Ahmed and Dr. Lucian Radu-Radulescu, who joined our clinical team in 2024. They bring a wealth of expertise and will work alongside Dr. Jesse Goodman, our longtime psychiatrist who has been part of Gould Farm for over 20 years.
Our psychiatrists collaborate closely with the clinical team of licensed independent clinical social workers (LICSWs) to provide comprehensive psychiatric care to guests. They visit the Farm weekly, conducting psychiatric evaluations, managing medications, and offering therapeutic support, while also being on-call for any urgent psychiatric needs.
Dr. Tanveer Ahmed, MD
Dr. Ahmed is a board-certified psychiatrist specializing in adult and adolescent psychiatry. With over 15 years of experience, she completed her residency at The George Washington University and a fellowship in child and adolescent psychiatry at New York Presbyterian Hospital, affiliated with Columbia and Cornell Universities. Dr. Ahmed has worked in diverse settings, including private practice, community mental health, and academic institutions. She has extensive experience with marginalized populations and recently trained in Ketamine-Assisted Psychotherapy, further expanding her therapeutic skill set. Her approach emphasizes holistic, person-centered care.
Dr. Lucian Radu-Radulescu, MD
Dr. Radu-Radulescu brings over two decades of experience in psychiatry and medical research. After completing his residency at the Institute of Living/Hartford Hospital in Connecticut, he has worked in roles such as staff psychiatrist at the VA Central Western MA Healthcare System and in private practice. He also has significant research experience in anesthesiology and neurophysiology at institutions like Duke and Stanford Universities. His broad medical background and psychiatric expertise contribute to the depth of care provided to guests at Gould Farm.
Dr. Jesse Goodman, MD
Dr. Goodman has been a part of the Gould Farm community since 2003. With training from Mayo Medical School, The Cambridge Hospital, and The Austen Riggs Center, he brings decades of experience and continues to provide continuity of care for our guests.
Together, our psychiatrists ensure that Gould Farm guests receive thorough and integrated psychiatric care, working closely with our LICSWs to support mental health and well-being. This collaborative approach strengthens the comprehensive care model that is central to Gould Farm’s mission.
