Since 1978, Roadside Store and Cafe has been a fixture of Monterey, Massachusetts and an important facet of the therapeutic work program at Gould Farm. Roadside is more than just a place to get your morning coffee and eggs; it's a beacon of community and social enterprise. We proudly source products locally - many of our products coming right from the Gould Farm dairy and beef herds, gardens and greenhouses, bakery, and maple sugarbushes - creating flavorful dishes that celebrate the bounty of our community efforts. Our space fosters opportunity for connection, where locals and travelers gather to share stories, forging friendships and a sense of belonging.  Roadside Store and Cafe isn't just a place to eat; it's a catalyst for social change, promoting inclusivity, dignity, and empowerment for all who come in our door and sit with us at the table.
